How to create account on DeGate?
Click ‘connect wallet’ on the top right.
Select the wallet of your choice, and initialize account. You will be asked to sign a transaction to initialize your account. (this does not incur gas fees!)
What are these 2 signatures for?
Step 1: Verify Ownership
This signature is to prove ownership of the address. This signature will act as your Asset Key on DeGate, authorizing and ensuring that only you can trade on DeGate.
Step 2: Enable Trading
Our goal is to ensure the security of your funds. In this step, your address will be bound with the Asset Key generated in the previous step. This binding relationship will be securely recorded in DeGate’s Ethereum smart contract, ensuring that only you can access and control your funds.
