On the 9th of December, 2021, DeGate, a DEX protocol built on Ethereum Layer 2, held an online seminar together with Coindesk dedicated to key developments in Layer 2.
The webinar, entitled ‘Why Layer 2 will change the game for Ethereum’, touched upon the most important topics of the Layer 2 ecosystem today: status quo and competition from other Layer 1s, rollup scalability, optimistic and Zero-Knowledge rollup scaling and the vision of Ethereum as a decentralised blockchain serving the digital economy.
