Product & Tech Update
Testnet Launch
DeGate is entering an exciting phase and milestone of our upcoming Testnet launch on the Ethereum Rinkeby network. Almost all work has been completed, with the exception of some minor issues that must be solved in the final stress test. These are mainly related to DeGate’s innovative Ultra-Efficient Gas Saving Technology (UEGS), with some work to be done to ensure precision when aggregating transactions to maximise matching efficiency.
The team has been working very hard day and night for two weeks and after some comprehensive regression tests, DeGate Testnet is expected to be live very soon! Thank you all for your patience.
Even as we prepare to launch the imminent Testnet, new requirements and improvements are being prepared for the Mainnet Beta version of DeGate. The auditing process is also ongoing smoothly.
Finally, we are pleased to note that DeGate decentralized trading protocol is launching on the Ethereum network first. Future research plans were set out this month in order to monitor the ecosystem development of various Layer 1 and Layer 2 protocols in order to provide decision support for DeGate’s potential multi-chain deployment.

It was a busy month in the Ethereum community as we gathered in Denver for the annual ETH Denver conference. DeGate was a proud sponsor of the conference and participated in the ETH Denver BUIDLathlon, offering bounties for the teams to create a grid trading simulator based on DeGate protocol. One prize is for a team that participated in ETH Denver BUIDLathlon physically during February 11–20, 2022, and another bounty is for a team that participates virtually. ETH Denver virtual BUIDlatlon takes place until March 25, 2022, so you still have a chance to participate virtually!

ETH Denver was among the largest crypto events in the World and DeGate is proud to take part and contribute to the community. It was great to connect with friends from Arbitrum, 1Inch, METIS, BOBA and many others, hear the vision of the projects, Ethereum and multichain ecosystem as a whole.
Liquidity Games panel at ETH Denver
DeGate Lead Evangelist Agne participated in the panel ‘Liquidity Games’ on ETH Denver main stage together with the founder of Swivel Finance, Julian Traversa, and the founder of Paraswap, Mounir Benchemled.

Ethereum Rio 2022
As an active member of the community, DeGate is proud to be sponsoring Ethereum Rio following the success of ETH Denver. Ethereum Rio will take place in Brazil’s “Marvelous City” of Rio de Janeiro from March 11–20, 2022.
The event aims to be a gateway for international blockchain projects to the Latin American region, the starting point for global projects to understand the landscape of the region and for Ethereum communities to meet.
Ethereum Rio wants to help Rio de Janeiro become a regional Web3 hub- a place for Brazilian and LATAM creators and builders with global ambitions.
